Service Description

For practiced, beginner to intermediate level students (not suitable for absolute beginners) Ages 13+ Take your wheel throwing to the next level! Students will be guided through and practice many drills and exercises chosen to help increase control and confidence on the wheel. In addition, students will learn to create projects that reinforce skill-building and open new avenues of creativity. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions about and get individualized help with their own challenges and goals on the pottery wheel. Your registration for this workshop will also grant you one free "Beginner-Advanced Pottery Wheel Throwing" session to continue your practice on the wheel or to glaze your previously-made pieces. To sign up for this free "Beginner-Advanced Pottery Wheel Throwing" session, please contact our office at 208-866-5521 Prerequisites: - Beginning wheel building skills required (already have the ability to throw some different shapes on the wheel) Your registration includes access to: - Tools/wheels/glazes - Guidance from your experienced instructor, Casey - One free "Beginner-Advanced Pottery Wheel Throwing" session to either continue your practice on the wheel or to glaze your previously-made work Please bring with you: - Clothes that can get dirty, and/or an apron - Clay may be purchased in our gift shop Cat Clay Studio Notes & Agreements: *Trimming, glazing or underglazing cannot be done on pottery pieces that have just been made; please plan on booking another session to complete any trimming or glazing. *Pre-registration for our clay offerings is a requirement. Showing up without registering through our website does not guarantee you a spot, and means you may be turned away. *Long nails are not recommended for this activity.
