Our Impact

We are always developing new programs to support artists and include the community. Bridging the gaps between Arts organizations, and encouraging collaboration over competition are just two of our many goals. Our passion lies in supporting EVERYONE to tap into their creative potential, and providing opportunities for those who otherwise would not be able to engage in the Arts.

SINCE 2022

We've given away over $20,689 in scholarships to kids and adults who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend our classes.

We've provided quality art education for over 5,000 people in the Treasure Valley and beyond.

We've contracted over 320 local artists, of all ages, skill levels, and a broad range of mediums.

IN 2025 ALONE

79% of our students were first-time visitors in our art classroom or clay studio, thanks to continuous partnerships, projects, community events, and word-of-mouth marketing.

Approximately 75% of all gift shop sales and class enrollment was directly returned to Boise's creative community, creating paid opportunities for artists that otherwise would not exist. The remaining 25% goes into supporting our staff and operating costs.

Empowering Parents Grant Fund Acceptance

Catalyst has partnered with the Idaho Commission for Libraries to assist Idaho's aging population by "expanding arts-based programming for older adults in Idaho’s libraries."

We pair emerging artists with experienced artists in their desired fields, to help facilitate the sharing of creative skills and knowledge in the Treasure Valley and beyond.

We proudly accept Empowering Parents grants, which help provide public, private, and homeschooled K-12 students with supplemental educational resources.

Art & Roses and other Art Markets

We believe the Arts should be accessible to ALL. Thanks to generous donors and year-round fundraising efforts, we are able to offer scholarships to children and adults who otherwise could not attend our classes.

We showcase hundreds of local artists and makers--of all different ages, stages, and mediums--across a variety of art markets during the year. Catalyst has been organizing Boise's beloved "Art & Roses" Festival since 2024, after co-organizing the Festival with its previous organizers in 2023.
