Service Description
Ongoing, every 2nd Monday: 10:30am - 12:00pm Ages 11+ In this hands-on class, you will learn the basics of working with polymer clay while sculpting your own miniature food creations. You can turn your tiny treats into adorable magnets, keep them as a knickknack, or food for a doll. You will learn simple techniques for shaping, detailing, and adding color to polymer clay while creating your own unique mini food designs. No previous clay experience is needed, just bring your imagination and a love of tiny things! All materials are provided by your instructor or by Catalyst, just bring your curiosity! Optional to bring: - Your own polymer clay to sculpt with, if you have a preference for a particular color scheme or brand About your instructor: Originally from Rupert, Idaho, Paige has been an artist her entire life. While acrylic paint is her primary medium, she also enjoys working with fiber arts, watercolor, oil paint, and polymer clay. In addition to her creative practice, Paige is an art therapist, and her background in mental health deeply informs her supportive and relaxed teaching style. As an instructor, she emphasizes exploration and play, encouraging students to experiment with materials and fostering a welcoming environment where artists of all levels feel inspired to express themselves. In her free time, Paige can often be found painting in her studio or spending time with her golden doodle, Hazel.
