Service Description

Single, drop-in class - Wednesdays - 6:30-8:30pm This bi-weekly, drop-in style class is great for beginning acrylic painters to expand their foundational skills while painting along with the instructor. Each week we will focus on a different topic such as depicting the light and form of an object, practicing gradients and color blending, and layering simple shapes. All supplies are included, so you just have to show up and paint! Come as often as you like and as your schedule allows...practice makes better! Professional artist and experienced teacher, Jessica Henry, will be your guide. Ages 14 and up are welcome. Minimal experience with acrylics is helpful, but not required. Optional items to bring: - Layered clothing, as the temperatures may be difficult to manage in the building - Bottled water/beverage Scholarships for this and all of our other classes are available for those who otherwise would not be able to attend art classes, thanks to generous donations to our Art Start Fund.
