DIY Cosplay Workshop, 2nd/4th Thur, 11am

Service Description

Every 2nd & 4th Thursday, 11:00am - 1:00pm (register for each separately) Ages 15+ In this casual, social get-together, participants will be encouraged to bring their own cosplay-making supplies as well as any ideas on what they might want help with, to work on with others. This opportunity is basically open studio time in the well-stocked Cat Classroom, but also time for you to try working on a certain cosplay you might be dragging out. Everything during each session is also done at your own pace. Please bring the following with you: - Cosplay costumes or props to work on, such as: a costume needing mending, or a wig, maybe something like a prop Materials you may want to bring depending on the project(s) you'll be working on: - Hot glue gun and hot glue - Sewing thread, sewing needles, scissors - Painting supplies and/or paint - A fake/foam head for wig styling, some wig styling tools About your instructor: Victoria Pettit also known as Vin, is a local to Boise, ID and an artist of many sorts. Some stuff Vin excels in is digital art, character art concepts and ideas, Vin is also learning to make her own cosplays by hand, although it might be a bit of a challenge, Vin is always up to challenging herself. Vin’s pronouns are They/She, either is perfectly fine with Vin. Another way Vin can describe her ways of seeing challenges is, “When I see how much I can do, it makes me excited about what else I can do."
