My granddaughter participated in a week long summer camp at Catalyst and it was a wonderful first time experience for her. The small class enabled her to feel comfortable trying new things and she also made new friends. Each day was a different medium and the instructors were well chosen and experienced. Looking forward to additional classes during school breaks and summer camp next year. Thank you for this great opportunity/exposure to the arts.

Had my first ceramics lesson. Really loved it. Casey is a great instructor: thorough, patient, polite, personable, and professional. Candy is very kind and puts her heart and soul into making this place excellent, inviting and calming. I basically go there for art therapy at this time after some grueling experiences in my personal life. I feel welcome. Boise does not currently have any other place like this.

So impressed with how welcoming this space is for artists of all levels, and how diverse their offerings are. It is such an inclusive, wholesome place where everyone is there to support each other in creating art. I took a pottery wheel-throwing class here, and was so impressed by how quickly I picked up this new skill in a judgement-free environment where the teacher was genuinely happy to be there and to guide us students. I cannot wait to be back and take more classes--they offer everything under the sun!

[Clay instructor] Casey was absolutely incredible for all the personality and experience levels we presented to him! I can't think of a time that we, as a family, were guided with such diverse approaches yet never left anyone behind or unattended to. We made pieces that spoke to us, and it was such a lovely space to create! Really thankful for the experience, and we'll be back regularly!

Catalyst Arts Collaborative had by far the best camp my daughter attended this summer! The environment was warm, inspiring, and full of creativity. The instructors were kind, supportive, and clearly passionate about helping kids explore their artistic side. My daughter came home excited every day, proud of what she created and eager to go back. Highly recommend this camp to any young artist!

Super cute place. Small but full of beautiful arts of all kinds, big and small, that you can either look at or purchase. Lots of great gift options.I took a watercolor painting class for beginners and enjoyed it so much. Jessica is a great instructor who is very knowledgeable, very helpful, and fun (and funny).I will be taking more classes and I will be recommending my friends and family.

Wow! Carrie's class on Grief and the holidays was incredibly powerful. I came away with new knowledge, renewed sense of self, and connection with others in the community who are also experiencing the complex journey of grief. Thank you Carrie and The Cat for a meaningful experience!

Came in for our first class! Jessica Henry was a wonderful teacher. We really enjoyed the still life drawing class. Look forward to booking more classes in the future. I also enjoyed the art store on the way out and picked up the most beautiful earrings.

I took a Sourdough class with Rachel. She did a great job teaching, was very patient with our questions, explained things well, had photos of mistakes and what the bread should look like. The hands on of assembly the dough and practicing the 'stretch and fold' was very helpful... She had a lovely loaf baked and ready to cut and serve. It was wonderful!
