1-day workshop: Saturday, August 22, 10:00am - 1:00pm Ages 11+ If you’ve got an iPad, Apple Pencil, and ProCreate and are wondering how to get the most out of them, this beginner-friendly class is perfect! We’ll start by exploring the fundamentals of how ProCreate works and then get hands-on creating digital artwork, including a simple digital collage to help you become comfortable using the app and device. Along the way, you’ll discover how ProCreate can be a valuable tool for brainstorming, planning, and enhancing artwork in more traditional mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting. Whether you’re new to digital art or looking to integrate ProCreate into your creative process, this class will help you build confidence and expand your artistic toolkit. Please bring the following with you: - Apple Pencil - iPad with the ProCreate app pre-installed About your instructor: Cindi Walton has pursued her passion for creating since taking her first art class many years ago. She earned a Bachelor’s Fine Art from Boise State University and spent thirty years designing and marketing a line of Christmas cards. In addition to painting birds and wildlife, Cindi creates digital artwork using an Apple Pencil, iPad, and the ProCreate app, and has used Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator throughout her creative career. She has written and illustrated five children’s books, with a sixth scheduled for publication in 2026. Her artwork has been exhibited in galleries across Idaho and featured on the cover of the Boise Weekly.
