Ongoing, biweekly Sundays, 2:00pm - 4:30pm Beginner-intermediate level Ages 14+ In this super fun, biweekly acrylics class you’ll be introduced to a variety of impressionist painters, then duplicate a famous work created by one of the masters from this art movement, from Monet, Degas, Renoir, Manet, Cézanne, Pissarro, Morisot, Renoir, Cassatt and more. You'll learn a variety of styles, brush techniques, and color palettes as you explore each artist. Experience a different lesson each week! Come multiple dates to experience something new each time! Join us and explore the style that changed the art world forever. Prerequisites: Solid understanding of working with either acrylics or oils required. All supplies will be provided. Optional items to bring with you: - Water bottle - Layered clothing About your instructor: Jessica is classically trained artist, with BFA in concept design and visual development from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has spent over 10 years working as freelance illustrator and fine artist. She now works in multiple mediums including watercolor, acrylics, and water soluble oils, and teaches lots of our drawing and painting classes at "the Cat!"
