1-day workshop: Sat, October 25, 1:30pm - 4:30pm Ages 13+ Get knotty and create this beautiful mandala macrame mirror with Knotty Tawny! This beginner macrame project is sure to add warmth and boho charm to your space. Featuring an 8" mirror with a 7" metal ring on which you will create a mandala macrame design. All materials will be provided by Catalyst or your instructor. Optional to bring: - Water in a spill-proof container About your instructor: Tawny Olsen first discovered macramé as a teenager through vintage 70s design books and has since explored many art forms including photography, ceramics, painting, and jewelry making. Returning to macramé as a vendor, she developed her own “modern macramé” style that combines natural cotton cord with driftwood, crystals, beads, and a mix of classic and contemporary designs. Inspired by nature, the Idaho mountains, and her science background, Tawny creates evolving, one-of-a-kind pieces that are both beautiful and functional.
