4-week course: Sundays, September 7 - September 28, 6:00pm - 8:00pm Ages 14+ After countless requests for another Intro to Watercolors course, it's finally back on the schedule! Always wanted to learn how to paint with watercolors? This beginner-level class will give you everything you need to get started, from creating beautiful gradients to learning how to prep and stretch your own watercolor paper. In addition to basic techniques, you'll also gain knowledge in color theory, as it applies to watercolors. Jessica, your instructor, has nearly 20 years of experience working with this vibrant media. All supplies will be provided. Optional items to bring: - Water bottle with lid - Layered clothing About your instructor: Jessica is classically trained artist, with BFA in concept design and visual development from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has spent over 10 years working as freelance illustrator and fine artist. She now works in multiple mediums including watercolor, acrylics, and water soluble oils, and teaches lots of our drawing and painting classes at "the Cat!"
