Service Description

Ongoing, 1-day sessions. Upcoming schedule: - Sat, March 8, 10:30am-12:30pm - Sat, April 5, 2pm-4pm - Sat, May 3, 5pm-7pm - Sat, May 17, 2pm-4pm Ages 5-12 Register for a single class or save with a multi-class multipass! See "Memberships and Passes" for more info. This fun and engaging class invites young artists to explore an exciting array of crafts, each centered around a unique theme. Each class will be lead by instructor, Roxanne Cheldelin, and co-lead by two aspiring instructors! These two young artists will have opportunities each session to guide their peers on a crafting adventure that sparks imagination and fosters teamwork. From whimsical, nature-inspired projects to festive, seasonal projects, our little artists and crafters will learn new techniques and use a variety of materials, resulting in delightful creations they can take home. With hands-on activities designed to cater to all skill levels, every child will have the chance to express themselves and contribute to the fun! Each session may draw on themes including "Animals on Paws," "A Whimsy Nature," and "All Things Fantasy!" Optional to bring: - Layered clothing (suitable for paint and similar messy materials) - Spill-proof water bottle - Non-messy snack, if needed Roxanne Cheldelin discovered her passion for art and creativity later in life while raising her three children, finding inspiration through spirituality and meditation. Her artistic journey began with sketching and inkwork, eventually leading her to create coloring products now featured in the Catalyst Arts Collaborative gift shop. Drawing from cherished childhood memories of coloring with family, Roxanne values creativity as a powerful way to foster connection and community. As the assistant to the director at Catalyst Arts Collaborative, she is dedicated to nurturing artistic expression in others, especially children, believing that creativity is a vital tool for self-discovery and meaningful connections. Scholarships for our after-school program (and other classes) may be available for those who otherwise would not be able to participate. Apply on our scholarships page to be considered and we will notify you when/if funds are available. Supply cost (included in total cost): $20
