In this class, you’ll build your storytelling vocabulary through text and image, and discover the traditional methods of making your own comics. The skills you'll practice can not only be applied to comics, but can help you better improve your storytelling through drawing, calligraphy, mixed media projects, and writing. This class will primarily focus on the disciplines of writing, penciling, inking, lettering, and self-publishing, using the traditional comics tools of pen and ink. Through this process, you’ll create your own characters and create your own stories, starting with the imagery of simple stick figures, so if you can draw a stick figure you can take this class!
