Ceramic Fairy Houses - 5/2 & 5/9 - 6pm

Service Description

2-week course: Fridays, May 2 & May 9, 6:00pm - 8:00pm Beginner to Advanced, all ages Hand build and glaze a fantastical, ceramic fairy house for your garden, home, or as a gift! During the first session of this course, we will focus on making the base, roof, and details of our fairy houses. During the second session, you will get to come back and practice using underglaze to add adorable detail to your fairy house. Because they are made out of ceramics, they can be displayed outdoors or indoors, for many years to come. In this course, you will learn handbuilding ceramic techniques & use your imagination and creativity to make a one-of-a-kind fairy house, before utilizing underglazing skills to create textures and designs on your piece. All supplies and instruction are included. Please bring the following with you: - Apron (recommended) or clothes that can get dirty - Any photos of fairy houses, unusual homes or natural items that inspire you Cat Clay Studio Notes & Agreements: *Pre-registration for our clay offerings is a requirement.
