1-day workshops (register for each separately): - Fri, July 24, 6:00pm - 7:30pm - Fri, August 28, 6:00pm - 7:30pm - Fri, September 11, 6:00pm - 7:30pm Ages 12+ Explore a new fiber art medium or practice what you already know! In this class, students will learn the fundamentals and techniques of needle felting with wool! Students will be guided through a tutorial and understand the basic steps of felting. If you want to follow the tutorial that is great, but if you feel compelled, you can create something else and seek help as you need it! All materials will be provided by Catalyst or your instructor. Optional to bring: - Any needle felting materials you are partial to using About your instructor: Stella is 16 years old and started taking art classes at the Cat when she was 12. Her dad got involved with teaching ceramics for the Cat right after, and since then, she has been in our art classroom or clay studio almost every week! Stella loves all art, but her favorite is fiber art. She has been sewing and embroidering since she was 7 and took up felting during covid; a medium she has a particular fondness for.
