As a small, community-based collaborative, we're always in need of volunteers! We have individual tasks for those who don't want to make long-term commitments, as well as on-going roles for those who would like more consistent involvement.

Our biggest event of the year is the Art & Roses Fine Art Festival, held annually on the first Sunday in June. This year, the festival falls on Sunday, June 7, from 10am-5pm, at Julia Davis Park. We adore organizing and hosting this event, and every year, we need all the help we can get!

 

One of the best ways you can support us is by lending us a hand for one or two simple, 2-hour shifts. These shifts might include:

- Offering a small activity and representing Catalyst

- Directing traffic for vendor load-in and load-out

- Helping our artists with loading in (both the day prior to the event, as well as the day of)

- Helping with load out after the festival concludes

- Assisting artists with trash pickup during event

- Handing out event posters & flyers to local businesses leading up to the festival

- General assistance for artist vendors and event attendees

Our staff can only do so much, so we really do rely on EVERYONE to help us reach our community in many ways.

In addition to helping your local arts community, volunteering at Art & Roses also helps the beautiful Boise area, as a portion of art sales from the event benefits the Julia Davis Rose Garden!
