My name is Sabrina Valdivia. I am a teacher, ceramicist, painter, and sculptor. I am just now getting back into art making for myself since I graduated in 2020. When I am working with clay, I focus on the functionality of my piece. My sculptures focus on the more playful aspects of life that most people tend not to notice. My paintings focus on my healing journey through repetition, mixed media, and personal mantras. When I am teaching I love to have students explore a wide variety of materials- things that they can't easily get at home. I focus on student choice, creative thinking, and experimentation.
