Jessica Henry is a classically trained fine artist and illustrator from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She has spent the past 10+ years working as a freelance artist on a wide variety of projects, while continuing to hone her artistic skills. While in college she became interested in plein air painting and ended up funding a trip through Kickstarter to paint across Europe for six weeks, producing over 70 paintings and sketches. Jessica is excited to share her love of painting with others, teaching in both class settings and private lessons. She encourages her students to discover new ways of painting and have fun in the process. Since moving to Idaho she has expanded her joy of plein air painting while exploring the Idaho landscape. Jessica has participated in the Eagle Plein Air Festival for the past 5 years and won several prizes. She can often be found painting around The Valley and in the wilds with her dog Rebel.
