Service Description
1-day class: Saturday, May 3, 10:00am - 1:00pm Ages 15-Adult Relax with the calming and expressive world of Neurographic Art—a meditative drawing practice designed to enhance mindfulness and creativity. Developed in 2014 by Russian psychologist and artist, Dr. Pavel Piscarev, this intuitive art form encourages relaxation and self-discovery through fluid, organic lines and mindful mark-making. In this workshop, we’ll explore the basics of Neurographic Art while incorporating ink and watercolor techniques to bring our designs to life. No prior art experience is necessary—just an open mind and a willingness to explore. Whether you're looking for a stress-relieving creative outlet, a way to connect with your artistic intuition, or a fresh approach to drawing, this class offers a welcoming space for all. All supplies provided. Just show up and create! Optional items to bring: - Your own permanent black ink pen and watercolor supplies (optional) - Layered clothing, as the temperatures may fluctuate - Bottled water/beverage in a spill-proof container Scholarships for this and all of our other classes are available for those who otherwise would not be able to attend art classes, thanks to generous donations to our Art Start Fund.
