Still Life Drawing Basics- Thurs - 6:30p

Service Description

Recurring, drop-in class on Thursdays, 6:30 - 8:30pm (Some Thursdays may be skipped due to other classes. Please check the calendar when booking for available dates.) Come improve your drawing skills by capturing images from still life displays with an expert to guide you through the process. This two-hour, weekly, drop-in class starts off with an instructional demo by professional artist, Jessica Henry, on one of four basic principles of line, form, light & shadow, and soft & hard edges. The knowledge and expertise you'll gain each week can be applied across all mediums, helping you become a better artist in any creative endeavor. Ages 14 and up are welcome. Instructor will provide paper and charcoals. Students are welcome to bring additional supplies, however, the classes will focus on black and white drawing. Scholarships for this and all of our other classes are available for those who otherwise would not be able to attend art classes, thanks to generous donations to our Art Start Fund.
