Service Description

Ongoing, individual sessions: Tuesdays, 11:00am - 12:00pm Ages 3-5 Register for a single class or save with a multi-class multipass! See "Memberships and Passes" for more info. Nurture your child’s creativity with our engaging preschool art class, where hands-on, process-oriented projects are rooted in classic art teachings and enhanced by literature from our growing kids’ book library. Each session may encourage young artists to experiment with primary colors, textures, and a wide variety of mediums including (but not limited to) paints, collage, crayons, and colored pencils. With a focus on developing creative vocabulary and exploring the elements and principles of art, children will have the freedom to play and create, in an educational environment. The class curriculum may adapt to the unique interests of each group, ensuring that every class is a fun and fresh art experience. Perfect for little hands and big imaginations, each session promises something new and exciting! Parents are encouraged to accompany younger children during the class! Items to bring each day: - Layered clothing (suitable for paint and similar messy materials), as the temperatures may fluctuate in our building - Spill-proof water bottle - Non-messy snack, if needed Scholarships for our after-school program (and other classes) may be available for those who otherwise would not be able to participate. Apply on our scholarships page to be considered and we will notify you when/if funds are available. Supply cost: $2 Total cost (including supply cost): $20
