Making Lids on the Wheel - 10/3-17 - 10a

Service Description

3-week course - Tuesdays, October 3 - October 17 - 10:00am - 1:00pm Ages 10+ This 3-week course will guide you through various methods used to create lidded forms on the pottery wheel. You will see demonstrations and practice different methods of lid-making, along with experienced artist and instructor, Casey, to create your own unique, functional, lidded vessels. Ability to throw basic shapes on the wheel, like jars and vases, is the only prerequisite for this course. Please bring with you: - Clothes that can get dirty Optional items to bring: - Water/beverage in container with spill-proof lid - Layered clothing, as the temperatures can fluctuate in our large building All studio rules must be followed at all times for everyone's safety. Scholarships for this and all of our other classes are available for those who otherwise would not be able to attend art classes, thanks to generous donations to our Art Start Fund.
