Service Description

1-day class, Saturday, March 23, 11:00am - 2:00pm Ages 18+ In this beginner/intermediate macramé class, you'll create your own beautiful macramé plant hanger featuring a piece of driftwood, 2 glass jars for propagating plant cuttings, natural 3 mm cotton cord, and your choice of beads! Professional macramé artisan, Tawny Olsen of Knotty Tawny, will be your guide as you create the perfect, functional piece of home décor. After helping you through each step, Tawny will send you home with written instructions and your finished/nearly finished project (depending on your pace). All materials and instruction are included in this in-depth workshop! Optional items to bring: - Layered clothing, as the temperatures may be difficult to manage in the building - Bottled water/beverage Scholarships for this and all of our other classes are available for those who otherwise would not be able to attend art classes, thanks to generous donations to our Art Start Fund.
