When we are grieving a loss, or going through a major life change, it can be challenging to find safe spaces to open your heart and process your grief. Yet, grief and loss are universal to the human experience, and mourning practices are shown to help us heal. Join experienced grief therapist, Carrie Panzer, LCSW, to learn about grief, the importance of mourning, and tools you can use to learn to live with your grief, and support your physical and mental health. Please bring the following supplies with you: - 9x12" or 11x14" sketchbook with blank pages, that will lie flat when opened - Optional: Any journaling/art materials that you might like to use. For example: colored pencils, water color pencils, markers of your choice, charcoal drawing pencils, gel pens, etc. Your preference on materials is entirely your choice, according to what you enjoy using. Many options will also be provided. All other materials are included. This workshop is open to all skill levels, and identities. Disclaimer: Please be aware that these non-clinical sessions aren't confidential and participants shouldn't reveal anything they don't want to be publicly known.
