Color Mixology - 9/24 - 1p

Service Description

One-day class - Sunday, September 24 - 1:00 - 4:00pm Ages 12+ Understanding how color works is a fundamental tool for any artist. In this workshop, we'll review color theory, experiment with color mixing, and develop an understanding of the use and emotions of color techniques to improve artwork. You'll create a color wheel for future reference. You'll also have the opportunity to experiment with complimentary colors and color interactions. Experienced teacher, Lisa Hlavinka, will be your guide. Please bring the following items: - a 9" x 12" Watercolor Paper Pad All other supplies will be provided. Open to all skill levels. The following items are optional - Water/drinks (preferably in spill-proof containers) - Layered clothing, as the temperatures can fluctuate in our large building Scholarships for this and all of our other classes are available for those who otherwise would not be able to attend art classes, thanks to generous donations to our Art Start Fund.
